Getting to Dodgers Stadium

Game time: 1:10pm Sunday afternoon!

I recommend allowing at least 30 minutes to get to the stadium, since traffic gets backed up and you might have a bit of a hike getting from your car to your seat! Parking is $15 cash per car.

Option 1: (click for Google map)

1. Take Barham Blvd to the 101 South toward downtown LA.
2. Take the exit onto CA-110 N/Pasadena Fwy N toward Pasadena.
3. Take exit 24 for Hill St.
4. Keep left at the fork to continue toward Stadium Way and merge onto Stadium Way.
5. Turn left to stay on Stadium Way.
6. Turn right at Elysian Park Ave.
7. Arrive at Dodger Stadium, 1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Option 2: (my preferred route) (click on link to Google map)

1. Take Barham Blvd downhill and turn right on Forest Lawn (or exit out the back entrance of Oakwood onto Forest Lawn).
2. Take Forest Lawn to Hwy 134 East toward Pasadena.
3. Take 134 East to I-5 South towards Los Angeles; merge onto I-5.
4. Exit 138 for Stadium Way.
5. Turn left on Stadium Way; turn right on Academy Rd; left at Elysian Park. Essentially, follow the traffic!
6. Arrive at Dodgers Stadium, 1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Contrafilm
Contrafilm (Journey To The Center of The Earth 3D, CHOKE, Exorcism of Emily Rose, The number 23) is currently seeking hard working interns starting immediately and for the upcoming Fall Semester. Interns will be exposed to all aspects of the development process (script coverage, tracking, research, etc.), but will also be responsible for general office duties (copying, filing, phones, and running errands). Ideal candidate should be available at least 2 days a week and must be highly skilled with both PC/MAC. The environment is friendly, relaxed and there is plenty of exposure to the executives of the company on a daily basis. This is great place to learn and be involved. Please send resumes to Tara Farney at contraintern@gmail.com or fax to 323/467-7730. This is an unpaid internship but school credit and great references are available.

Screen Gems
Fall Acquisitions and Production Intern needed at Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group (SPWAG) and Screen Gems on the Sony Lot ASAP!

The acquisitions and production department for SPWAG and Screen Gems is looking for fall interns. Some of the recent films we have been involved with are WE OWN THE NIGHT, HALF NELSON, PROM NIGHT, QUARANTINED, and FELON. Duties include reading scripts, viewing submissions, general administrative tasks, preparation for film festivals/markets, and much, much more. We include you in script meetings, have you view features, and teach you how to perform coverage. This is a very “hands on” opportunity! You will become familiar with the Sony lot and many of its top executives. All internships require that the candidate is able to receive college credit. If you are intelligent, eager and ambitious, you will be a great fit at one of the most prolific acquisitions departments in Hollywood.

Please fax resumes to Dana Scarborough @ 310-244-0635 or email to Dana_Scarborough@spe.sony.com

Icon Productions
Icon Productions is an independent motion picture production company founded in August 1989. Unlike most other independents, Icon is a small company that allows interns to work in close proximity with creative executives. Listed above is a few of the projects we’ve produced. For more information on us or our projects, please visit www.iconmovies.com.

Interns work directly with the Features Assistant, who spends a good deal of time overseeing their work. Icon is very committed to helping our interns individually in the areas where they have the most interest. Our production office is a busy place, and we’re looking for someone smart, hands-on, eager, and is a fast learner. Interns spend most of their time reading scripts (1 or 2 per week) and writing coverage on them. Near the end of the program, interns have the opportunity to speak with executives about scripts and fine- tuning their ability to pitch and discuss stories. Daily duties also include covering phones and helping with administrative tasks like organizing and filing.

To apply, please email us your cover letter and résumé to David Kwong at dkwong@icon-films.com. Specify which semester you are applying for and provide the date when you can start as well as the days you are available to work.
