ICLA Stompers

When there are 6.2 miles of urban concrete to be walked, cloudy skies and cool temperatures are a blessing in Los Angeles. Such was the blessing for the ICLA Stompers who walked on Sunday with 30,000 others in the 22nd Los Angeles AIDS Walk. The Stompers' sponsors helped the AIDS Walk set a new record of $3.7 million raised, money needed by AIDS Project Los Angeles and other agencies around LA to fund HIV/AIDS prevention programs, support groups, health care, camping opportunities, mental health services and holistic wellness classes. These programs and services reach tens of thousands of people throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Way to go, Stompers!

Price Is Right Lessons

  1. Don't schedule a Price Is Right outing on Columbus Day.
  2. Don't show up with less than 20 people in your group.
  3. Don't get so worked up over dashed hopes of winning prizes on national tv. It ain't the end of the world.
