If you're riding the charter bus, meet at 6:30 on the Oakwood side of Forest Lawn for the pick-up. I'll check the list to make sure we're all accounted for, then it's off to Dodger Stadium! Otherwise, meet us in the stands. Don't forget your ticket! and bring a jacket or sweater...it'll be chilly, guaranteed.

Taste of LA: Thailand

What is "Taste of LA" you ask? Well it is a one-a-month event for those who love to try new types of food and who want to explore those lesser known culinary gems of LA. We will meet at a different restaurant once a month and enjoy a great meal with even better company. You are responsible for the cost of your meal, but we'll keep the restaurants within a reasonable price range.

We really want a lot of people to get out and enjoy this, so here are a few ways of getting there.

• If you're taking the mini-course that night, we'll meet at Pendleton and leave from there. We can carpool if people are going to need a ride.
• If you're up at the Oakwoods and need a ride, meet up in the lobby of the North clubhouse at 5:30 and leave from there.
• OR you can just meet us there.
  

If you plan on attending, let Stuart know so that he might have a rough estimate of how many people to expect.

Six Flags / Magic Mountain

I hope to see you there on Saturday, March 22! It's a plan-it-yourself outing, so come when you want and stay as late as you want! The park is open Saturday from 10am-10pm. Your ticket is good any day through December 31, so if you can't go this weekend, you can use it another time.

Here's how to get there:

Take the 101 Freeway north to the 170 Freeway north. Take the 170 Freeway north to the Interstate 5 Freeway north (the 170 Freeway automatically ends at the I-5 north). Take Interstate 5 north to Magic Mountain Parkway. Exit Magic Mountain Parkway. Turn left at the traffic signal at the bottom of the exit ramp going under the Freeway overpass. Proceed along Magic Mountain Parkway to the parking toll booths and the Park entrances.
