Just a few weeks left!

Can you believe you've been in Los Angeles since August? Time flies when you're having fun/working your fingers to the bone/writing amazing scripts/getting the best fall semester tan you've ever had/living in Tinseltown. A rundown of what's happening in the next few weeks:

December 1 or 2: American Gladiators! Let me know your perferred date!
December 3-7: Last week of class!
December 8: Luau and 30 Days of Film Festival Screening
December 10-14: Finals week
December 16: Housing at Oakwood ends

There might be a last minute event thrown into the mix, so check here and read your emails from me and the RAs to keep informed.

Bowling

Hey guys!

Sunday, after everyone is done with their hungover and laundry, lets play some bowling!

Lets say 4pm outside South Clubhouse, and then well figure out who needs a ride and who wants to walk... before getting to PINZ Bowling!

Flag Football and Barbecue after Cortaca

Come play Flag football in Griffith Park this saturday after the Cortaca football game. Meet at the South Clubhouse after the game and we will drive and/or take cabs to the park. If you can't meet and still want to go it is about a 3 minute drive down Forest Lawn Rd. Take a right at Zoo Dr. and go left when you get into the park and their are a few fields right there. After the game there will be a bbq at the south clubhouse (not as big as the monthly bbq's but it will be proper). Even if you don't want to play feel free to come watch and hang out at the park. Hope to see a lot of you there.

30 Day of Film contest rules

Here they are: the 30 Days of Film contest rules...

Rules:

1. Film form may be documentary, narrative or experimental.
   
2. Scripts must be original and not previously produced.
3. Previously filmed student work may not be used in part or in whole for your submission. Fresh ideas and new footage welcome!
4. All filming and editing must take place between November 2 and December 2, 2007.
5. Film length must be from 2 to 10 minutes.
6. Films will be judged on creativity, originality and production values.
7. Only one entry per person or group (of 5 people or less) will be allowed.
   
8. All pre-production, production and post-production persons must be current ICLA students. Actors may be ICLA or non-ICLA participants.
   
9. The completed entries must be submitted in digital format to the Pendleton Center by 5pm, Monday, December 3, 2007.
10. Screening date will be announced.

Registration must be emailed to Jon Bassinger-Flores by Friday, November 9, 2007 at 5pm. Please include the following information in your registration:

Synopsis (100 words or less):

Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers for $10

Sign up on the RA board if you want to see the Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets play the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Staples Center. This is the night before Thanksgiving and I know that many of us will be around so it will be a lot of fun. Sign up ASAP, preferably before the end of this week, because we are waiting to get a head count before we order tickets.
