Ghost Movie in the Cemetery!

Sunday, August 31st
"Don't Look Now" directed by Nicholas Roeg (1974, 110 mins)
Hollywood Forever Cemetry
6000 Santa Monica Blvd at Gower
gates at 7:00pm. Film at 8:30pm.

Come early since this is a very popular event with the local movie crowd. Bring a blanket and dinner!
$10 tickets at gate

Nick Roeg's ghost story is still one of the scariest movies ever made! Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie star as a couple who escape to Venice Italy after the accidental drowning of their child. Sutherland begins to see an apparition of the dead girl in the labyrinthe alleys and tunnels of the mysterious city, and he tries to catch and confront the spirit. Roeg’s adventurous direction, the misty and sinister streets of Venice and chiaroscuro cinematography create an atmosphere that never fails to give goosebumps. Hands down one of the most terrifying climaxes of any film ever made!

ICLA AIDS Walk Team - Sign up now!

Calling all ICLAers! It's time for the LA AIDS Walk! You can walk with the team (scroll down to Ithaca College Bombers) or be a volunteer. (I believe that photography volunteers will get internship credit, so check out that option!)

Last year, we had about 20 walkers (students, staff and alums) and raised over $1600 for AIDS Project Los Angeles...can we top those numbers this year? The walk is on October 19th, so you have plenty of time to do some serious fundraising by emailing your family, friends, and colleages! Internship sites are usually very glad to help you out, so don't be afraid to approach your supervisors and co-workers.

To really get things going, we're planning a benefit concert on Saturday, September 27th, featuring some local IC alum artists and bands such as Jackie Cook, Elemenopy, Tape Deck Disaster and A Field of Flowers! You can check out Elemenopy this Saturday night at Unknown Theatre...maybe we should make this an official outing for all y'all sticking around for the Labor Day weekend!
