Check out procedures

Everyone must check out of their apartments at Oakwood by Sunday, December 16, 2007 at noon. You must return your apartment key, parking pass and Oakwood access card when you check out. Simply go to your clubhouse to check out. The last person to leave your apartment should return the mailbox key.

Save yourself the trouble of being charged a cleaning fee by removing all unwanted kitchenware, housewares, school supplies, personal items and clothing before you leave. Throw away ALL of your trash and items that you no longer want and are not taking with you. The apartment does not need to be spotless, but it does need to be reasonably clean and COMPLETELY empty.

Check out envelopes are available at the clubhouse for those students who need to check out after office hours. Place the envelope with your key, parking pass and Oakwood access card in the drop slot in the clubhouse, or give it to the security guard at the main gate if the clubhouse is closed.

DAMAGE: If there are any damages or problems with your apartment, please be sure to settle them with Oakwood before you leave. Any repairs due to damage and/or excessive cleaning needed in your apartment after you are gone will be evenly billed amongst all the roommates in the apartment. These charges will appear on your Ithaca College Bursar statement/bill. All apartments were inspected prior to check-in and any damage was noted and reported to Oakwood.

PENDLETON CENTER PROPERTY: Please be sure to return videotapes, DVDs, scripts and anything else you borrowed from the LA Program Office before you leave.

DONATIONS FOR FLEA MARKET:
• If you have any gently used items that you want to DONATE to the spring flea market, drop them off at the Pendleton Center before you leave. Please bring your donations before 5pm, Friday, December 7.
• Make sure kitchenware is clean, and do not bring any junk/trash/clothing.
• Donated items must be in boxes or bags, not loose.
• If you are leaving items for specific spring students, CLEARLY label each box/bag with the student’s last name.
• If you want sell a larger electronic item (tv/dvd/computer/etc.), please label the item with your name, phone #, and price.
